Terms of Service — Spektriq

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Spektriq ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users including free, trial, and paid subscribers.

2. Description of Service

Spektriq is an AI search visibility platform that monitors how brands appear across AI-powered search engines including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and Google AI Overviews. Features include visibility scoring, hallucination detection, competitor share-of-voice tracking, and weekly digest reports.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You may not share your account or use it to monitor brands you do not own or have explicit permission to monitor. You agree not to use the Service to scrape, resell, or redistribute AI engine data.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use Spektriq to: (a) violate any applicable law or regulation; (b) monitor competitors in ways that violate their terms of service; (c) attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent the platform; (d) conduct automated attacks against the Service; or (e) resell access to the platform without written consent.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly via Polar. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months except where required by law. Prices may change with 30 days notice to your registered email.

6. Free Tier and Trials

Free tier accounts are limited to 1 brand, 10 keywords, and weekly scans. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue free tier benefits with notice. Trial periods, where offered, automatically convert to paid plans unless cancelled before the trial ends.

7. Data and Accuracy

Spektriq provides AI visibility data on a best-effort basis. AI engine responses change frequently and results may not be exhaustive. We make no warranties about the completeness or accuracy of visibility scores, hallucination detection, or competitor data. Do not make critical business decisions based solely on Spektriq data without independent verification.

8. Intellectual Property

The Spektriq platform, including its code, design, and methodology, is our proprietary property. Your brand data remains yours. We may use aggregated, anonymised data to improve the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spektriq shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms, non-payment, or extended inactivity (12+ months on free tier). You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon termination, your data will be purged within 30 days.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms with 30 days notice by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Material changes will always be communicated via email.
